Locating Journal Articles

• Go to the Library/IC homepage

• Type the title of the journal, magazine, newspaper, etc. in the Search Advanced CLICnet & Journal Titles box

Example: American Journal of Psychology

• Check the box next to Journal Titles

• Click Go

• You should see something like this:

• The dates of coverage are listed as well as the resource in which the journal is available.

• The links are for databases in which the journal is available full-text online.

• If Bethel University is in the title it's in the University Library. If it says Bethel Seminary St Paul print holdings it's available in the Bethel Seminary Library

• If the title is designated as a Print Journal (which means paper-copy) or Microfiche/Microform Drawers, it's in the Library. Make sure we have the date you need.

  • Journals in paper-copy are shelved alphabetically at the south end of 3rd floor (main floor). Older journals are shelved on the 4th floor near the restrooms.
  • Microfiche is filed in cabinets in the Reference area of 3rd floor.
    
  • Microfilm is filed in cabinets on 4th floor by the restrooms.
