Availability of Recent Issues of Journalshttp://kb.library.bethel.edu/articles/41/
Find the most recent article received
Look for the month you're interested in. You may also see a note indicating this title is on Current Display. Why we might not have the most recent issueThere may be an embargo on that journal issue. An embargo can be explained as follows: "A publisher agrees to offer full-text after holding the material for a pre-established period of time. Embargoes allow the publisher to protect revenue from newsstand sales and subscriptions." If you find an article in one database but can't get the full text, do a Journal Title search to see if it's available in another database. Always look at the coverage periods and compare them to the date of your article. If full text is not available in any database, it is
possible that there is a global embargo on that particular journal issue. Your
next step would then be to request the journal article from the Interlibrary
Loan Department. Contact: Sally Smith
